Leroy M. Weaver, 103, New Holland Machine retiree, Reamstown FC volunteer, woodworker

Leroy M. Weaver, 103, died Oct. 20, 2017, in Ephrata Manor.

Born in Martindale, a son of Reuben B. and Lydia (Martin) Weaver, his wife, Miriam R. (Eshleman) Weaver, died Nov. 25, 2005.

A member of Reamstown Church of God, he retired after 32 years from New Holland Machine. Leroy repaired lawn mowers, enjoyed woodworking, was a Nash Rambler enthusiast, and volunteered with Reamstown Fire Company.

Surviving are his children: Gene R. (Jeanette Moll) Weaver, Stevens; Lee R. (Jessalyn H. Reining) Weaver, Ephrata; Linda R. (Larry) Hornberger, Denver; and Clyde L. (Cecelia Shaffer) Weaver, Reinholds; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother: Wilmer Weaver, Ephrata.

Nine siblings predeceased him.

Services were held Oct. 24 at Reamstown Church of God, Stevens. He was interred in Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery.
