Ruth J. Reardon, 90, owned Fivepointville Hotel, Hildy’s Tavern, treated all strangers like friends

Ruth J. Reardon, 90, of Mahanoy City, and previously of Lititz, died peacefully on Dec. 29, 2018 surrounded by family.

Born in Mahanoy City on June 11, 1928, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Greiner) Thomas. Her husband, Leo, died in December 1996.

She was a business woman, owning and operating the Fivepointville Hotel and The End. With her husband Leo, she owned and operated the Historic GreenTree Inn and Hildy’s Tavern. Ruth never met a stranger and was a friend to all. She cherished her family and was a wonderful mother and devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived a life full of laughter and fun. She enjoyed many summers at the bay, spending time at the beach, crabbing, and driving her boat.

Ruth is survived by two daughters: Donna R. of Lititz; and Alicia A. (wife of Ronald P. Snavely) of Quarryville; four grandchildren: Damon, Kerri, Jenna and Kristin; and six great-grandchildren: Kaleb, Sullivyn, Sawyer, Adrian, Callie and Colin.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Teddy and Bobby Thomas.

Ruth’s celebration of life and interment will be at the privacy of the family.

Lori Imhoff Jamieson, 55, EHS grad, owned Lori Imhoff Designs, devoted to her three sons

Lori Imhoff Jamieson, 55, of Raleigh, N.C., passed away in Transitions Life Care surrounded by family on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 after a brief illness.

Born on March 3, 1963 in Memphis Tenn., her family relocated to Ephrata when she was an infant.

She was a graduate of Ephrata High School, York College of Pennsylvania, and The University of Maryland. She was a graphic artist and owner of Lori Imhoff Designs for many years.

Lori’s main interests in her life were her three sons. She was a wonderful, loving mom, always there for the boys. She was a dear friend to many people who will miss her quirky laugh, beautiful smile, and sweet disposition. She was an amazing cook and loved to invite friends over for dinner or to go golfing, or just conversation. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

She is survived by her sons: Joshua Jamieson, and Ethan Jamieson of Raliegh, N.C.; and Zachary Jamieson of Los Angeles, Calif.; mother: Jane L. Imhoff of Santa Cruz, Calif.; father: Nevin J. Imhoff of Costa Rica; brother: Erik, husband of Barbara Imhoff, and their daughter, Jerika, of Santa Cruz, Calif; uncle: John, husband of Kathy Weinhold, and their son, Chad, of Ephrata; and many other beloved family and friends.

A celebration of her life was held on Dec. 1, hosted by her sons.

Jeanne B. Fackler, 90, Ephrata, Zion Lutheran member, mother of four, was married 65 years

Jeanne B. Fackler, 90, of Oregon Pike, Ephrata went to be with her precious Savior, Jesus Christ, on Jan. 7, 2019.

She was the widow of C. Robert Fackler, the love of her life, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. They sold their 10-acre farm at 2384 New Holland Pike to the Worship Center in 1978.

She was the daughter of George B. Gantz and Ethel Brinzer Gantz. She was a 1946 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. A member of Zion Lutheran Church in Leola for over 60 years, God knows her good works.

Surviving are a daughter: Crystal Bausher; and three sons: Robert L., husband of Claudia; David R., husband of Sylvia; and Michael G. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Clyde Gantz; and a sister: Lois Phillips.

At the convenience of the family, graveside service and interment will take place at Trumbauer Memorial Cemetery in Leola with the Rev. Karen Larson officiating.

Pearl M. Greenly, 91, of Mount Joy, formerly of Rothsville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was born in Voganville to the late Charles Sr. and Irene (Zook) Getz, and was the wife of the late Victor G. Greenly, who passed away in 2013.

A homemaker, Pearl was a member of Salem Evangelical Church, Voganville.

Pearl is survived by a daughter: Sharon A. Greenly of Mount Joy; and a brother: Charles Getz Jr. of Snyder County.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Myrtle Getz, Ethel Stauffer and Lucy Sheaffer.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Stradling Funeral Home, 30 N. Ninth St., Akron, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at Middle Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

Charlotte Romaine Martin, 82, Ephrata, homemaker, survived by three children, married 61 years

Charlotte Romaine Martin, 82, of Ephrata, died at her home on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019.

Born in Leacock Township, she was a daughter of the late Menno and Lena (Kennel) Stauffer. She was married 61 years on September 28 to Ivan Z. Martin.

Charlotte was a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children: Deb, married to Jon Stuckey of Blue Ball; Tammy, married to Rev. Wayne MacBeth of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Craig Martin of Noblesville, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.

Services were held Jan. 14 at Calvary Church, Lancaster.

Loretta E. Schannauer, 72, worked at Keystone Nitewear, Reading Hospital, enjoyed reading

Loretta E. Schannauer, 72, of Denver, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in Denver to the late Lloyd and Erla (Eberly) Leibig, and was the wife of the late John Schannauer, who passed away in 2001.

Loretta worked as a seamstress for Keystone Nitewear and as a housekeeper for Reading Hospital. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and doing puzzles.

Loretta is survived by a son: Michael E. Schannauer and fiancée Sandra Snyder of Denver; a daughter: Melissa, wife of Todd DeBock of Ephrata; five grandchildren, Johnathan and Ryan Schannauer, Megan and Matthew DeBock, and Hunter Snyder; and a brother: Kenneth L., husband of Sandra Leibig.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Barbara Young, Charlotte Beckham, and Carol Springer.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Akron Fire Hall, 1229 Main St., Akron. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Thelma J. Steffy, 93, EHS grad, Steffy medical practice nurse, held famous Sunday suppers

Thelma J. Steffy, 93, of Lititz, and formerly a longtime resident of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 at Luther Acres in Lititz.

Thelma was the loving wife of the late Dr. Harry L. Steffy, who passed away Nov. 2, 2016.

She is survived by two daughters: Rosalind S., wife of Gary G. Krafft of Southport, N.C.; and Nancy K., wife of Jay R. Balmer, of Gibsonia; a daughter-in-law: Dr. Brigette Haagen-Steffy of Lititz; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband: Harry; Thelma was preceded in death by a son: Dr. Brian D. Steffy.

Thelma was born in Churchtown, and was a lifelong Lancaster County resident. She graduated from Ephrata High School and attended the Hahnemann School of Nursing in Philadelphia. Thelma was essential to the operation of her husband’s family medical practice in Ephrata as a nurse and office manager for 26 years.

Thelma was dedicated to her family and loved taking care of them. An immaculate housekeeper and great cook, her Sunday suppers were a regular event that would bring her family together.

Family trips to Hilton Head, S.C.; golfing with Harry; and going shopping with her family were some of Thelma’s favorite things to do.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

William (Bill) L. Koch, 94, honored WWII vet, V.F. Weaver worker, was avid vegetable gardener

William (Bill) L. Koch, 94, of Lebanon, formerly of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, at Stoneridge Towne Centre in Myerstown.

He was born in Plowville (Berks County) to the late Paul and Emma Pearl (McGowan) Koch, and raised by his paternal grandparents, Samuel B. and Clara (McGinnis) Koch.

Bill was in the U.S. Army for three years during World War II. He served in the European Theater and entered Europe across the Beach at Normandy, France. He was a truck driver for the famous Red Ball Express and delivered infantrymen, paratroopers, ammunition, and supplies to the frontlines, including the Battle of the Bulge. He reported being fired upon during his time in Europe, but fortunately he was never wounded.

In 2009, Bill’s service to the USA was recognized by him being inducted into the Honorable Order of Saint Christopher, a prestigious transportation-related designation that was conferred upon him by the U.S. Army Chief of Transportation, Brigadier General Brian Layer.

When he was honorably discharged after the war, Bill returned to Pennsylvania where he met and later married Mary J. Eberly. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in January 2018. Mary passed away in October 2018.

Bill is survived by three sons: Thomas R., husband of Jane (Christ) Koch; William P. Koch; David J., husband of Cynthia (Bowers) Koch; a daughter: Donna M., wife of Dennis Schonewetter of New York; 14 grandchildren ;and 17 great-grandchildren.

Bill taught Sunday school at Fivepointville Bible Church and enjoyed distributing Bibles with Gideons International. He was a current member of North Annville Bible Church.

Bill was a mechanic by trade and later worked for Victor F. Weaver, Inc. in New Holland for many years as a maintenance supervisor before his retirement in 1986. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed using his handyman skills to help his family and friends with various projects. In addition, he was an avid vegetable gardener and continued this hobby through the summer of 2018.

Services were held Jan. 15 at Stradling Funeral Home, Ephrata, with Pastor Todd Shoemaker officiating. Interment was in the Center Union Cemetery, East Earl.

Mary W. Becker, 83, teacher, active at Ephrata COB, enjoyed scrapbooking, travel, helping others

Mary W. Becker, 83, of Akron, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

She was born in Rothsville to the late Michael N. and Jennie S. Wenger, and was the wife of John D. Becker, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage.

A graduate of Eastern Mennonite University, she later received her master’s degree in education from Millersville State College.

Mary was a passionate teacher, starting first at Ephrata Mennonite School, before moving on to Poarch Indian School in Alabama, as well as in Ontario at Poplar Hill First Nation School. She then went on to teach in the Warwick School District at John Beck Elementary for many years until her retirement. She also carried that same passion in sharing the love of learning with all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to volunteering at many locations, she also was the manager at the People’s Place in Intercourse for several years. She was also very active at the Ephrata Church of the Brethren, serving as a deacon and on many other committees.

Mary loved to travel and one of her most beloved destinations was Alaska, which she visited again with family last summer, just five months before her passing.

Mary also enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, canning fruits and vegetables, fishing with John and family in Crisfield, Md., reading and staying in touch daily with her many friends and relatives. She was also a grand storyteller, sharing her many life experiences in great detail at home, family reunions and special events. Most of all she loved helping people in need and giving lots of love to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was an accomplished writer and genealogist, putting together histories of both the Wenger and Becker families over the years, including the Jennie Wenger Pictorial Genealogy, and her most recent Valentine Becker Genealogy, which was published in 2017. She also authored a book on the Carpenter Mennonite Church.

Mary’s parents taught and modeled lives of prayer, faith in God, love for family and loyalty to the church. Their teachings and examples were positive influences in shaping her life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by son: Donald, husband of Carol Becker of Leola; and daughter: Donna Stauffer, fiancée of Andrew Fasnacht of Ephrata; grandchildren: Kristy, Donald Jr., Matthew, Rachel, Caroline, Sean, Morgan and Ethan; five great-grandchildren; siblings: Kathryn, wife of the late John Ebersole, Ephrata; Bertha, wife of Ben Brubaker, Manheim; Michael W., husband of Mary Wenger, Ephrata; Anna, wife of the late Ron Reimer, Lititz; Paul W., husband of Elsie Wenger, Akron; Martha, wife of Robert Harnish, Manheim; a sister-in-law: Anna S. Wenger, Ephrata; and a brother-in-law: Rufus Hoover, Mountville.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by siblings: Mabel Ristenbatt Saylor, Grace Ebersole, Laura Hoover, Norman Wenger, Esther Wenger, and Edna Cramer.

Services were held Jan. 14 at Ephrata Church of the Brethren, with Pastors Rob Eshelman and Mike Wenger officiating. A private graveside service was held at the convenience of the family.

David F. Steinmetz, 87, Korea veteran, Steffy Brick plumber and mechanic, Reinholds VFW member

David F. Steinmetz, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Manor Care, Sinking Spring.

He was born in Rothsville to the late David and Emeline (Fetter) Steinmetz, and was the husband of Mary F. (Stuber) Steinmetz, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

David was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War. He was employed as a mechanic/plumber for Steffy Brick. He was a hard worker and an active member of the Reinholds VFW Post 6759.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by a son: Kevin Steinmetz; two daughters: Wendy Newsome and Tammy Ryave; four grandchildren: Jamie Hornberger, Angie Hauck, Marcus Ryave, and Nikolas Ryave; four great-grandchildren: Taylor, Payton, Austin, and Rory; and a sister: Anabelle Snyder.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Agnus Rupp and Sarah Bergman.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Alice L. Kramer, 84, Reinholds, enjoyed gardening, yard work, and going for walks

Alice L. Kramer, 84, of Reinholds, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at home.

She was born in Ephrata to the late Walter and Emma (Heffley) Hartman, and was the wife of the late William Kramer, who passed away in 2012.

Alice enjoyed gardening, yard work, and going for walks.

She is survived by a daughter: Linda Zimmerman, with whom she resided; and a grandson: Joshua Zimmerman.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son-in-law: Will Zimmerman.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 3 p.m. at the Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, with Rev. Carl Brubaker officiating. Interment will take place in the Swamp Cemetery.

James M. Musser, 64, former Bowmansville fire chief, co-owned Hibshman’s Auto Service

James M. Musser, 64, of Bowmansville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019 at his home, following a several-year battle with ALS.

His wife of 43 years, Susan K. (Burkhart) Musser, survives. Born in Denver, he was the son of the late Mark G. and Maria Z. (Martin) Musser.

Prior to retiring, Jim was co-owner of Hibshman’s Auto Service in East Earl. He was a member of Gehman Mennonite Church and the Bowmansville Fire Company for many years. He served as fire chief for 17 years. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors and hunting near Wellsboro at his hunting camp. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Andrew, married to Julianne Musser, and their children Jackson and Reagan of New Holland; Eric, married to Lauren Musser, and their children Noah, Joel and Ainsley of Bowmansville; and Douglas Musser of Lynchburg, Va.; and six siblings: Lillian Worley; Robert, married to Ruth Musser; Mary Ellen Musser; Miriam Musser; Grace, married to John Sensenig; and Sylvia, married to Carl Eberly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: James Worley; and a sister-in-law: Miriam Musser.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 25, at 10 a.m. at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Road, East Earl. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m.

Owen L. White Sr., 87, NY Parks Department foreman, Grace Point Church member, joy to be around

Owen L. White Sr., 87, of Ephrata, was called home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, at Fairmount Homes Retirement Community, where he resided.

He was the loving husband of the late Beulah F. (Feil) White, who passed away Jan. 23, 2016. Born on Jan. 12, 1932 in Livermore Falls, Maine, Owen was a son of the late Amos and Elsie (Richmond) White.

He worked for the Rockville Centre Parks Department in Long Island, N.Y. as a parks department foreman. Owen was a member of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene in Ephrata.

He was a joy to be with and taught those around him what it meant to serve others in love. Owen will be remembered for his smile and how he loved to share God’s blessings with family, friends and acquaintances.

Surviving Owen are three daughters: Nona-Sue Mellish (the late Tim Mellish), Oklahoma City, Okla.; Kristie Bonham, Edmond, Okla.; Marilyn (Mark) Harris, Yukon, Okla.; and two sons: Owen Jr. (Patty), Ephrata;, and Barry (Cheryl), Minoa, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Owen’s memorial service will be held at the Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Road, Ephrata, on Saturday, Feb.. 9, at 2 p.m., with Pastors B.W. Hambrick and Owen White III officiating. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service. A light meal will be provided in the church café for family and friends following the service.

Eric C. Stauffer, 16, sophomore at Shade Mountain Menn., attended church there as well

Eric C. Stauffer, 16, of Sunbury entered into rest on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was the son of Jeremy L. and Judith Z. (Nolt) Stauffer of Sunbury. Eric was born on Nov. 24, 2002 in Reading, Berks County.

Eric was a 10th grade student at Shade Mountain Mennonite School and attended Shade Mountain Mennonite Church, Mount Pleasant Mills.

In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by two sisters and a brother: Audrey Stauffer and Sharla Stauffer; and Jarron Stauffer; paternal grandparents: Samuel and Mary Ellen Stauffer; maternal grandparents: Earl and Verna Nolt; paternal great-grandmother: Verna Fox; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services were held Jan. 23 at Shade Mountain Mennonite Church, Mount Pleasant Mills, officiated by the Shade Mountain Mennonite Church ministry. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery.

James “Jimmy” Michael Parks, 45, of Bozeman, Mont., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019.

He was born Jan. 27, 1973, in Philadelphia, and was raised there. He eventually moved west and settled in Bozeman.

Jimmy graduated from Ephrata High School. He traveled the country after graduation, enjoying music and living life. In addition to his love of music, he enjoyed cooking for family and friends. He worked in Yellowstone Park, in construction, as a chef, and most recently as a butcher.

Jimmy is survived by his spouse: Jessica Parks; two daughters: Bella and Maybel Parks; sons, Quinn Parks and Conner Hillgrove, of North Carolina; and a sister: Lisa Christ of Ephrata.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jim and Barb Parks.

Grace M. Hernandez, 88, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, at her residence.

She was born in Lebanon County to the late Albert and Bessie (Moyer) Knable, and was the wife of Byron Hernandez, and the late Harry G. Ruth.

She was a member of New Joy Church, and also attended New Beginnings Church, Ephrata. She was a former Sunday school teacher. During her working years, she worked at Stunzi Silk Mill.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter: Louann, wife of Antonino Bonsignore of Palmyra, N.J.; two grandchildren: Amanda and Peter; two brothers: Joseph Knable of Manheim, Lee Knable of Ephrata; and a stepsister: Gloria Himes of Manheim.

Services were held Jan. 22 at Stradling Funeral Home, Ephrata, with Pastor Jeff Dunlevy officiating. Interment took place in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Richard Earl Becker, 71, served in the Army during the Vietnam War, Dart Corp. mechanic

Richard Earl Becker, 71, of Ephrata, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019 in Lancaster.

“Dick” was the son of Alpheus Becker and Jeanne (Keiser) Becker of Paradise. He married Sharon (Melchi) Becker in 1975.

Dick was employed at Dart Corp. of Leola as a mechanic for 13 years. He served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.

Dick is survived by his wife of 43 years: Sharon Becker; and his children: Aaron (Stevie) Becker; and Cory (Becker), wife of Michael Graeff; grandchildren: Dylan and Ian Becker; and Ruxin and Trevor Graeff. He is also survived by his sisters: JoAnn Becker, wife of Kim Becker; Sandi (Becker) McLain, wife of Joe McLain; and brother-in-law: Barry (Kay) Melchi.

Services were held Jan. 21 at Groff Funeral and Cremation Services, Lancaster. He was buried in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.

Beverly Ann Buchter, 67, Cocalico grad, Weaver’s Market retiree, Denver Fair volunteer, crafter

Beverly Ann Buchter, 67, of Denver, passed away Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019.

Beverly was the daughter of Dorothy L. (Rathman) Burkholder and the late Franklin Burkholder.

She was a graduate of Cocalico High School, class of 1970. Beverly enjoyed crocheting and crafts; making Christmas ornaments for co-workers each year was important to her. She worked at Weaver’s Market for 20 years, retiring in December of 2017. While raising her daughters, she volunteered with Girl Scouts. Beverly was also very involved with the Denver Fair and served on the fair committee for many years.

In addition to her mother, Beverly is survived by two daughters: Rebecca Kulp, wife of Spencer of Denver; and Mandi Long, wife of Justin of Reinholds; two grandchildren: Hannah Kulp and Dylan Kohl; and a brother: Randy Burkholder, husband of Nancy, of Denver.

A viewing will be held Thursday, Jan. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 34-38 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown.

Emily Rachelle Ramirez, 14, EHS student, top speller, avid writer and nature photographer, color guard, bowling team member

Emily Rachelle Ramirez, 14, of Ephrata, passed away at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital on Jan. 15, 2019.

She was part of the color guard of the Ephrata High School Marching Unit and the Ephrata varsity bowling team. She was a member of the Friends of Rachel Club, Mountaineer newspaper club, the EHS Bible study club, and was the youngest member of the Ephrata Writer’s Group. She placed fifth in the 60th annual LNP Spelling Bee last year.

Emily was an active member of Ohana Youth Group of New Life Fellowship Church.

She enjoyed singing, ice skating, music, reading and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoyed writing, especially books and poetry and occasionally short stories. She was an avid nature photographer.

In addition to her loving parents, Edgar and Mary Ann; she is survived by her adoring sisters: Kyra Janelle, Kendra Lynelle, and Danika Giselle.

Services were held Jan. 22 at New Life Fellowship, Ephrata, with Pastor Kevin Horning officiating. Interment took place in the Petra Memorial Park.

Jaden Lee Truskey, 18, EHS grad, PSU student, soccer player, Naruto fan, devoted to his family

Jaden Lee Truskey, 18, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Reading and was the son of Sara Truskey and stepfather Mike Brown.

Jaden was a 2018 graduate of Ephrata High School and had been currently attending Penn State Abington as a freshman. He was on the Penn State soccer team.

In addition to his mother and step dad, he is survived by his three siblings: Julea, Cooper and Madelyn Truskey, all at home; and maternal uncles: Joseph and Andrew Truskey; as well as maternal grandparents: Geralyn and Leon Truskey of Denver. He is also survived by his two dogs: Bailey and Carl Bear.

You could always find Jaden playing soccer with all of his teammates, watching Naruto, or cracking a joke to see someone smile. He loved to participate in all family activities. Jaden would always lend out a hand to support any of his friends, family, or anyone when the opportunity presented itself. He always made sure to go above and beyond for everyone he encountered.

A visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with The Rev. Father John J. McLoughlin C.SS.R., as celebrant. Final Commendation and Farewell will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. A gathering for a time of sharing will be held at the Ephrata High School Cafeteria, 803 Oak Blvd., Ephrata, following the burial.
