Bee Vang, 49, Leola, died at home Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017.

Born in Vientiane, Laos, she worked for Tyson Foods, New Holland, for 28 years. A member of Hmong Alliance Church, Leola, she was a deacon and active in the woman’s alliance. Bee cherished her family and enjoyed vegetable gardening.

Surviving: her husband of 31 years: Chong Fong Lor; parents: Chue Kao Vang and Yang Moua, Eau Claire, Wisc.; children: Christina Graybill, Julie Lor, George Lor, Ia Lor, Ong Lor, Mai Chong Tellado, and Lennen Lor; grandchildren: Anthony, Vincent, Serena, Ariel, January, David, and Azlynn; sisters: Pa Nhia, Chao, Kia, and Blia; and brothers: Shong Pao, Leng, and True.

A viewing will be held from Good Funeral Home, 34-38 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, on Thursday, Dec. 21, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 22, from 9 a.m. to noon, and 5 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday after a one-hour viewing. The Rev. Chue Dao Yang is officiating. Burial will follow in Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery, East Earl.

Ervin N. Weaver, 83, MM Weaver & Sons owner, Massey Harris/Ferguson collector

Ervin N. Weaver, 83, of New Holland, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at his home, on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017.

He was the loving husband of the late Alta Z. (Martin) Weaver who passed away on Aug. 12, 2009. They were married for 53 years. Born in West Earl Township, he was the son of the late Martin M. and Elizabeth (Nolt) Weaver.

He was a member of Groffdale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference. He was owner of MM Weaver & Sons farm machinery business for 60-plus years. He enjoyed visiting with family, friends,

and business acquaintances. He also enjoyed traveling and collecting Massey Harris/Ferguson machinery.

Ervin is survived by a son: Clifford, husband of JoBeth (Forney) Weaver of Ephrata; five daughters: Joyce M., wife of Wilmer G. Hurst of Richland; Janice F., wife of Aaron E. Hurst of Leola; Darla J., wife of Raymond Brubacher of Morgantown; Silvia M., wife of John David Weaver of Denver; Sharon K., wife of Gary L. Martin of Ephrata; 34 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Frank, husband of Laura Weaver of Narvon; Edward, husband of Arlene Weaver of New Holland; and Ivan Weaver of Lancaster; a sister: Nora, wife of Willard Stauffer of New Holland (wife of the late Ivan Horst); and a brother-in-law: Leon, husband of Clara Martin of Ephrata (husband of the late Verna).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Howard Weaver; and two sisters: Verna (Weaver) Martin and Edna Weaver.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 21, from 1 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. at the Martindale Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata. Family services will be held Friday, Dec. 22, at 9 a.m. at Farm Crest, with further services at 9:30 a.m. at the Groffdale Mennonite Church, 90 Groffdale Church Road, Leola, with Bishop Curvin Z. Zimmerman and Ministers Edwin Reiff, Richard Burkholder and Paul Newswanger officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.

Rev. Kenneth M. Weaver, 96, E.C.C. pastor, Aflac insurance rep, enjoyed hunting, Braves fan

Reverend Kenneth M. Weaver, born July 16, 1922, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2017, in his 96th year.

Born in Beartown, Kenneth was the son of the late Benjamin F. Weaver and Elsie Mae Sensenich Weaver.

He spent his final years serving God and loving people as a resident of Garden Spot Village in New Holland, and is survived by his four children: Nancy, married to Jay Martin of White Horse; James, married to Tami Vaught, of Keller, Texas; Caroline, married to Whitney Parker of Bedminster, N.J.; and Angela, married to Michael Schatz of Mount Joy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five siblings.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years: Doris H. Weaver.

Reverend Weaver received his bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College, and also graduated from the Lancaster Theological Seminary. Kenneth dedicated his life and God-given talents to the Lord, and used his life to serve Him in many ways, including over 50 years as a pastor in the Evangelical Congregational Church, and serving in related ministry roles including chaplain for the Fellowship of Christian Peace Officers, a member of the Lancaster County National Day of Prayer Task Force, and a board representative for Mom’s House. He also ministered as the director and founding member of the Twin Pines EC Camp, as well as being an evangelist for over 13 years. Kenneth also served as an Aflac insurance representative for 20 years.

Known as Dad, Granddaddy and Pop Pop, Kenneth treasured spending time with people, especially his family. He also loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, being a 75-year member of the Buck I Hunting Club in Galeton. He enjoyed reading and playing games, especially pinochle, Aggravation and bingo. He loved John Wayne, his Atlanta Braves and Boston Red Sox, watching Penn State football, putting together puzzles, cooking, and wearing his cowboy boots.

A celebration of life service was held at Garden Spot Village on Dec. 17. Burial will be at the convenience of the immediate family.

Samuel O. Swartz, 91, WWII vet, insurance agent, East and West Cocalico Justice of the Peace

Samuel O. Swartz, 91, of Ephrata, formerly of Reinholds, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.

He was born in Reinholds to the late Samuel and Helen (Ochs) Swartz, and was the husband of the late Barbara H. (Hornberger) Swartz, who passed away in 2008. Sam was a loyal caregiver up until her passing.

He was a member of Swamp United Church of Christ, where he was in the choir, a former deacon, elder, president of consistory, and he taught Sunday School for 40 years. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #665 F & A.M., Ephrata, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Lancaster and Reading, Lancaster County Shrine Club, Rajah Temple A.A.O.N.M.S, Reading, Rajah Shrine Club, Reading, and Order of Eastern Star, Cloister Chapter. He was a charter member of Reinholds V.F.W. #6759, and Reinholds Lions Club.

Samuel was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II. He was self-employed as an insurance agent in the Denver area for 34½ years. He was also a former Lancaster County Recorder of Deeds and Justice of the Peace in East and West Cocalico for 17 years.

Samuel is survived by four children: James Gilbert Swartz, husband of Amy (Reitzel) of South Carolina; Samuel O. Swartz III, husband of Annette (Eckert) of Ephrata; Anne Elizabeth, wife of David Dennis of Middletown; and Rebecca Susan Swartz of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister: Evelyn M., wife of Clair L. Wolf of Ephrata.

Services were held Dec. 20 at Swamp Christian Fellowship Church, Reinholds, with Pastor Craig Snow officiating. Interment took place in the Swamp Cemetery. Military honors were accorded by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard and 21 Vet Salute.

Robert L. Martin, 69, D & E retiree, Booksavers manager, winemaker, hunter

Robert “Bobalou” L. Martin, 69, of Ephrata, a loving father, husband, and friend, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017, at home.

He was born in Brownstown to Joseph and Sara (Carrigan) Martin, and was the husband of Janet (Musser) Martin, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage.

He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, where he served as an usher and a trustee.

Robert was an installation supervisor for D & E Communications for 37 years before retirement, and was currently the manager of Booksavers of Ephrata. He graduated from Conestoga Valley High School, Class of 1966, and attended Goshen College and Penn State University.

Robert was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He enjoyed making homemade wine and spending time in Tioga County. He was a part of the “Brownstown Boys,” a member of the Lucky 13, Cooper Hill and Newmanstown Clubs, as well as the Buckskins and Cushion Peak Shooting Clubs.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by a son: Anthony Joseph Martin of Ephrata; a daughter: Kelly Sue Martin of Ephrata; a brother: Leonard, husband of Miriam Martin of New Holland; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Alma Nolt.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice & Community Care for their compassionate care during Robert’s illness.

Services were Dec. 27 at Bethany United Church of Christ, Ephrata, with Pastor William LaSalle officiating. Interment took place in the Groffdale Mennonite Cemetery.

Vera Mae Strickler, 82, worked at Dutchmaid, enjoyed flea markets, collected music boxes

Vera Mae (Waltz) Strickler, 82, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Ephrata Manor.

Born in Rapho Township, she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Gertrude (Zink) Waltz. Vera was the loving wife of Neil Strickler with whom she shared 59 years of marriage.

Vera was a member of Bergstrasse Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ephrata, where she was a Sunday school teacher, served on the altar board and was a greeter.

She had worked for RCA Lancaster, Noggles Garment Factory in Manheim, and Dutch Maid and Hestco in Ephrata. She loved to go to flea markets, play cards, read and collect music boxes.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons: Scott Lee, husband of Marty (Lindberg) Strickler of Lakeland, Fla.; John Allen, husband of Vicki Strickler of Ephrata; a daughter: Sandra Lynne, wife of Stanley Krotowski of Silverdale; five grandchildren; two step-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; three brothers: Clifford Glenn, husband of Carol Waltz of Columbia; Luke Melford Waltz of Mount Joy; Larry, husband of Susan Waltz of Columbia; two sisters: Ethel Marie, wife of the late Albert Acosta of Lancaster; and Shirley Lucille Waller of Columbia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Henry Jr., Ralph, and Richard Waltz; and three sisters: Betty Hoke, Vivian Brodhecker and Velma Lauver.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Bergstasse Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata, followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Herb Lohr officiating. Interment will take place in the Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery.

Erla H. Horst, 64, Ephrata, Landis Homes worker, Martindale Mennonite member

Erla H. Horst, 64, of Ephrata, died unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Ephrata Township, she was a daughter of the late Eli M. and Annie H. (Horst) Horst.

She worked for many years as a dietary aide at Landis Homes and was a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fairmount Homes and Lancaster General Hospital for their kind and professional care given to Erla.

Surviving is a brother: Eli M. Jr., married to Jennie (Eberly) Horst of Denver; and four sisters: Vera, married to Elvin Martin of Ephrata; Minerva, married to Abram Brubaker of New Holland; Eleanor Martin of Middlebury, Ind.; and Anna Mary, married to Enos Weaver Jr. of New Holland.

Preceding her in death is a sister: Verna Mae Horst; and a brother-in-law: Lloyd M. Weaver.

Services were held Dec. 27 at Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, with the Bishop Amos G. Martin officiating. Interment was in the Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery.

Paul E. Kring, 91, WWII vet, Northeastern Lumber Co. estimator, enjoyed woodworking

Paul E. Kring, 91, of Denver, formerly of Mohnton, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, in the Mount Joy Hospice Center.

Born in Brecknock Township, he was a son of the late Alvin K. and Mamie (Kissinger) Kring. His wife, Shirley A. (Hartz) Kring, died Jan. 22, 2014.

A member of Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville, he also sang in the church choir. Paul was an estimator for 38 years with Northeastern Lumber Company, Reading. He was a World War II Navy veteran, member of Reinholds VFW, charter-life member of Adamstown VFW, and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Surviving are his sons: Jeffery D. Kring, Mohnton; Joel A. (Linn Enoch) Kring, Wernersville; and Jamie P. (Cheryl Dirks) Kring, Leesport; grandchildren: Laura Kring, Jason Kring, Stephanie Weaver, Darrin Weaver, Rochelle Allgyer, and Derrick Lush; great-grandson: Lincoln Lush; and sisters: Beatrice Hassler, Barbara (Bob) Getz, and Mary (Jim) Stewart, all Denver; and Shirley (Fred) Leathery, Ephrata.

A sister, Betty Harting Buckwalter, predeceased him.

A memorial celebration of life will be held on Friday, Dec. 29, at 6 p.m. from Peace UCC, 37 E. Swartzville Road, Denver. The family will receive friends following the service. Private inurnment will be in Allegheny Union Cemetery.

James William Foster, 76, U.S. Navy vet, engineer at Corning Glass Works, volunteer

James William Foster, 76, of Ephrata passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

He was born in Long Branch, N.J., to the late John W. Foster Jr. and Ruth Ackerson Foster, and was the husband of Alice E. Weinhold Foster, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Scott G. Foster, husband of Kate; a daughter: Kristin A. Foster; as well as a grandson: Thomas G. Foster.

He graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School and the United States Naval Academy. Following graduation from Naval Nuclear Power and Submarine School, he served on the USS Alexander Hamilton. After almost 22 years of service, he retired as a captain from the Naval Reserves.

Jim was a professional engineer and worked at Corning Glass Works, Gilbert Associates, United Energy Services, and RPA Engineering.

He was an active member of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) Adopt-a-Kid/Adopt-a-Vet program. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years and had been a member of SCORE.

A private service will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Curtis Enck, 69, of Denver, passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.

He was born in Brunnerville to the late Richard Z. and Elsie K. (Steely) Enck, and was the husband of Norma (Crockett) Enck, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.

Curtis was a member of the Ephrata Grace Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Curt Jr., husband of Shirley A. Enck of Reinholds; a daughter: Heather L. Martin of Denver; grandchildren: Nathaniel, husband of Aylina Enck; Benjamin Enck, fiancé of Dakota Moore; Jesse, husband of Chelsea Enck; Amanda Enck; and Maia Martin.

Services were held Dec. 23 at Ephrata Grace Church, with Pastor Kim Robertson officiating. Interment took place in the Brunnerville United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Elaine K. (Kurtz), 97, formerly of Ephrata, passed away on Nov. 15, 2017, in Warminster,

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Jacob K. and Edwina A. (Raymor) Kurtz. She was the wife of the late Einar A. Palmgren M.D.

She was the loving mother of Angela (Dr. Joseph F.) Mambu and the late David Palmgren; and mother-in-law of Nancy Palmgren; and cherished grandmother of five and great-grandmother of nine. She was the devoted sister of Barbra Kurtz Hammon (late Edward) and the late Jacob Kreider Kurtz; and sister-in-law of Louise Kurtz

An avid art lover and artist, Elaine taught art history at Ephrata High School for many years

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial services for Elaine on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 167 E. Main St., Ephrata. Her family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata.

Michael E. Crills, 62, worked at Ephrata Manor, enjoyed hunting, cars, time spent with family

Michael E. Crills, 62, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Ephrata Manor.

He was born in Ephrata to Harold S. Crills and the late Julia S. (Showalter) Crills, and was the husband of Jaleen (Edwards) Crills, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.

Michael was a member of the Cocalico Sportsmen’s Association. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, guns, cars, and especially spending time with his family. He performed maintenance for Ephrata Manor, and worked for Horizon Signal Technologies, as well as the Lancaster Airport.

In addition to his father and wife, Michael is survived by two sons: Jeremy L. Crills, husband of Coleen of Leesport; and Chad M. Crills, husband of Rachel A. Kleinberg of East Hampton, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Colby, Carly, Carson, and Paul Luther Crills; and a sister: Colette, wife of Robert Frantz of Westfield.

Calvin D. Sauder, 59, EHS grad, owned Sauder Fuel, enjoyed motorcycling, grandchildren

Calvin D. Sauder, 59, of Reinholds, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 19, 2017 at his home.

Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Christian and Anna Mary (Sensenig) Sauder of Lititz. Calvin was the loving husband of Jeanette (Burkholder) Sauder with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.

Calvin was a graduate of Ephrata High School. He owned and operated Sauder Fuel, Inc. for 22 years, and more recently volunteered at the Greater Berks Food Bank.

He was a member of Bethany Grace Fellowship and had a great love for God. He enjoyed motorcycling, car shows, bicycling, and most importantly spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two children: Matthew, married to Kendra (Weaver) Sauder of Stevens; and Emily, married to Christopher Fox of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren: Beckett, Bowen, and Mia; a sister: Cindy, married to Sid Good of Ephrata; and a brother: Galen, married to Twila (Hess) Sauder of Lititz.

Funeral services were held Dec. 23 at Bethany Grace Fellowship, East Earl, with the Pastors Chris Smeltz and D. Adam Nagle officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

Gloria M. Kemerly, 89, of Lancaster, formerly of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at Conestoga View.

She was born in Lancaster to the late Paul and Claire (Heis) Cunningham, and was the wife of the late Carl E. Kemerly, who passed away in 1991.

She was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church, Lancaster. Gloria worked in the cafeteria at Ephrata High School for many years. She enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, puzzles and bingo. She especially loved her daughter’s dog, Jessie.

Gloria is survived by a daughter: Joan E., wife of Bob Weaver of Lancaster; and two granddaughters: Shanna-Rose and Shelby Kemerly.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Cheryl A. Kemerly. She was the oldest daughter of 13 children.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Miriam Jordan Ferrara, infant, enjoyed music and being read to

Miriam “Mira” Jordan Ferrara was born at 11:01 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2017, to parents Joseph and Alison Ferrara at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Mira weighed 4 lbs. 11 oz., and was 16 inches long. She had beautiful brown eyes and dark brown curly hair. Mira was held by her parents for her entire 53 minutes of life on Earth. Her short life was filled with nothing but love. She enjoyed music and being read to. She was so strong and fought to have the time to meet her parents before going to be with Jesus.

Mira is deeply loved by her Mommy and Daddy, her grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless more. She will always be her parents’ precious daughter and loved beyond words.

A memorial service will be held at Dove Westgate Church, 1755 W. Main St., Ephrata, on Jan. 5, at 3 p.m.

John M. Longenecker Jr., 81, Stevens, former grocery manager, patriotic, enjoyed sunrises, fishing

John “Jack” M. Longenecker Jr., of Stevens, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 11, 2017, at the age of 81.

Born July 1, 1936, he was the son of John M. Longenecker Sr. and Florence (Burkey) Longenecker, who preceded him in death; as did his sisters: Roberta Longenecker and Nancy (Longenecker) Shepherd.

He was married for 50 years to his wife, Geraldine (Ford) Longenecker. The Lord blessed him with three children: Lorrie (Longenecker) Dunn, wife of Christopher Dunn, Stevens; John M. Longenecker, husband of Debra (Knight) Longenecker, Denver; and Jason L. Longenecker, husband of Kathleen (Harnish) Longenecker, Denver. He was also blessed with 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter due in February.

He loved fishing, beautiful sunrises, flying his American flags in honor of his country, and being with his family. He touched a lot of lives with his amazing sense of humor. His jobs included managing grocery stores, a restaurant, and assembling furniture at a local company. After he retired he worked for an excavating company as a parts runner. He loved working with wood and made a lot of special things for his grandchildren and children. He served in his church as treasurer and served on the board as a deacon and on the board of missions and helped on the finance committee.

There will be a memorial service in his honor on Jan. 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Washington Avenue Bible Church, 149 Washington Ave., Ephrata. Burial will be private.

Lois A. (Weaver) Harding, 86, of Wernersville, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at Stone Ridge Poplar Run.

She was the wife of Kenneth R. Harding Sr. Born in Leola, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Elsie M. (Sensenig) Weaver.

She was a 1949 graduate of East Cocalico High School.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Dwight D. Harding, Wernersville; a daughter, Diane A., wife of Thomas Marks, Ephrata; a brother: Homer P. Weaver, Denver; three sisters: Beatrice Metcalf, Myerstown; Evelyn Kramer, Kenhorst; and Hazel Heffner, Lebanon; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son: Kenneth R. Harding Jr.; three brothers: Kenneth, Harold, and Donald Weaver; and a sister: Floretta.

Services were held Dec. 29 at Stone Ridge Poplar Run, Myerstown. Burial will be private.

Jeffrey A. Rhoads, 52, of Stevens, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at home.

He was born in Lebanon to Robert Yingst of Florida, and Nora, wife of Harvey Smith of Lebanon.

He was a member of Denver Orioles, Reamstown Athletic Association, and Reinholds V.F.W. He enjoyed NASCAR, and especially spending time with family. Jeffrey worked as a construction worker for various companies.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by life partner: Vickie Schmidt; a son: Devon Rhoads; five brothers: Eric Ceresini; Robby, Bobby, Shannon, and Michael Yingst; and four sisters: Dodi Buzzard; Natalie, wife of Eddie Hummel, Raquel, wife of Eric Walker, and Trisha, wife of Scott McBride; and multiple nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 p.m., with Pastor Timothy L. Craven officiating. A graveside service will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 6, at the Grand View Memorial Park in Annville.

Phyllis J. Sweigart, 80, Ephrata, died at home Dec. 25, 2017.

Born in Ephrata, she was a daughter of the late Rufus G. and Beulah (Leed) Burkholder.

Phyllis was a school bus driver for Cocalico School District and later Boyo Transportation. She loved flower & water gardening, raising her sheep, sewing, quilting and crafts.

Surviving are her children: Debra (Garry) Fasnacht, Ephrata; Sherri (Chuck) DeWitt, St. Augustine, Fla.; and Ronald Sweigart, Denver; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Dixie Schweitzer and Linda Osiolek; and a brother: Robert Burkholder.

Funeral services were held Dec. 29 at Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with The Rev. Ray Stark officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery Annex, Denver.

Catherine Lee, 68, of Ephrata, and formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Monday, Dec. 25, 2017.

Catherine was born in Philadelphia and worked as a crossing guard for the City of Philadelphia.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who is survived by four sons: Julio “Bo” Morais (Tracy) of Bethel; Shaun Morais (Monica) of Lititz; Jerry Lee (Rebecca) of Delaware County; and Thomas Lee (Lauren) of Ephrata; one daughter: Beatrice, wife of Richard Patterson of Salem, N.J.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four siblings: Kenny, John, Verna, and Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband: George Lee; her parents: John and Catherine Campbell; and a sister: Irene.

Services were Jan. 2 at Gravenor Home For Funerals, Ephrata. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
