Harold Dale Weaver, 74, of 50 Fairview Drive, Lititz, passed away at Conestoga View on April 20, 2015.
Born in Lancaster, he was the husband of Barbara (Axe) Weaver and they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on Jan. 31. He is the son of the late Harvey W. and Eva Stermer Weaver.
Harold was a member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church in Ephrata and worked in the ministry for seven years. He also assisted with the Teen Challenge for Girls and worked in the maintenance department for Giant Food Stores. He loved the ministry work and was always helping someone.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons: Douglas, husband of Arlene Weaver; and Curtis, husband of Jackie Weaver; all of Sarasota, Fla.; and Terry Weaver, Lancaster; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by a son: Michael; and seven brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Harold’s Funeral Service from the Evangel Assembly of God Church, 939 Linden Road, Ephrata, on Friday, April 24, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Sylvester officiating. Interment will take place at East Fairview Cemetery, Manheim. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harold’s name may be sent to Evangel Assembly of God Church, attention: Building Fund, 939 Linden Road, Ephrata, PA 17522.
The arrangements have been entrusted to the Spacht Snyder Funeral Home, Lititz.
