June B. Stauffer, 85, formerly of Akron, Fulton Bank retiree, enjoyed antiquing

June B. Stauffer, 85, formerly of Akron, parted peacefully from us Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Pleasant View Retirement Community.

Born in Kissel Hill, she was the daughter of the late J. Beaver and Beatrice Brookmyer Stauffer.

She was preceded in death by her companion: Ben Daniels; sisters: Fay S. Bowman, Elizabeth B. Foreman, Grace B. Stauffer; and brother: Mahlon B. Stauffer.

She will be greatly missed by her brother: Everett B. “Tim” Stauffer, who resided with her at Pleasant View. She is survived by an extended family of nieces, nephews; and a sister-in-law: Mary Lou Stauffer.

June was an active member of Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill. Her family was very important to her, and she spent most of her time with her sister Grace and her brother Tim. She enjoyed collecting antiques and visiting with friends and family.

June started her career as a telephone operator at D & E in Lititz. She went on to work at Keystone Express, which became Mushroom Trucking. She retired after 15 years at Fulton Bank.

Family and friends are invited to Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill, 26 Owl Hill Road, Lititz, on Wednesday, April 22, for June’s funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorial donations in memory of June may be made to Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill.
