Jerry L. Shrout, 65, of Stevens, formerly of Bretz, W.V., passed away Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy.
He was the husband of Deborah A. (Gibbons) Shrout and son of the late Roy and Helen (Trowbridge) Shrout.
Jerry was a quality control manager at Boose Aluminum Foundry in Reamstown for 19 years.
In addition to his wife Deborah, Jerry is survived by a daughter: Tonilyn Shrout of Washington; two step-daughters: Terri L., wife of Douglas Andrew of Ephrata; and Kristin M., wife of Kirk Conover of Mays Landing, N.J.; one sister: Wilma Poling of Newburg, W.V.; six brothers: Clyde E. Shrout of Bretz, W.V.; Jackie E. Shrout, husband of Bonnie, of Arthurdale, W.V.; Timothy L. Shrout, husband of Sandi, of Arthurdale, W.V.; Ronnie R. Shrout, husband of Luanne, of Ashland City, Tenn.; Noah Shrout, husband of Cathy, of Rising Sun, Md.; and Raymond W. Shrout, husband of Belinda, of Akron; three granddaughters: Aimee Andrew, Summer Conover, and Ashlee Conover; one grandson: D. Scott Andrew: one great-grandson: Travis Andrew; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a son: Joseph L. Shrout; two sisters: Delores J. Lesher and Shirley A. Feather; and three brothers: William, Charles, and Robert Shrout.
