Debra Ann (Miller) Styer

Debra Ann (Miller) Styer, 57, of Annville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at her home in Annville.

She was born in Ephrata, the daughter of the late Alvin M. and Arlene S. (Schannauer) Miller.

Debra was a member of Swamp Lutheran Church in Reinholds. She loved horses and dogs and spending time with family, especially her granddaughter, Violet.

She was a 1974 graduate of Cocalico High School. She retired from World Electronics in Reading, where she was an electronics assembler.

Debra is survived by her husband: Jimmy Wayne Styer of Annville, whom she married on Sept. 18, 1981; two sons: Travis A., husband of Deborah A. Goretzke Styer of Fleetwood and Troy M. Styer, at home; a granddaughter: Violet Styer of Mount Joy; two step-grandchildren: Joshua and Jaymi Goretzke of Fleetwood; a sister: Lisa D., wife of Kevin Rathman of Reamstown; a niece, Kimberly S., wife of Kenneth Sowers of Wernersville and a grandniece: Hailey N. Sowers of Wernersville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Linda L. and Bruce A. Sensenig.

A funeral was held Jan. 27, 2014, at the Swamp Lutheran Church, Reinholds, with Pastor Dennis L. Trout officiating. Interment took place in the Swamp Lutheran Cemetery.
