Carole K. Miller, 77, Burnham Boiler retiree, devoted her life to spreading God’s word

Carole K Miller, 77, of Ephrata passed away on April 26, 2019 at Ephrata Hospital.

Born in Myerstown she was the daughter of late Stella (Wartloaf) and Arthur Loeb, and wife of the late Earl E Miller.

Carole was a longtime employee of Burnham Boiler where she was the first woman in the sheet metal fabrication department. She retired in 2000. A devout Christian, Carole devoted much of her retirement helping spread the word of God.

Carole is survived by her brother: Jerry Loeb; and sister: Mildred Rank; and four children: Carl (Elizabeth) Miller of Woodbridge Va.; Larry Miller, Ray Miller, and Brian Miller, all of Ephrata; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services are set for May 4 at Grace Church, 6067 Carpenter St., East Petersburg. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. with a memorial service to follow at 10 a.m., with Pastor Mark Ammerman officiating. Parking and directions can be found at gracesunday.com.
