P. Raymond Zimmerman, 89, of Ephrata, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Lancashire Hall.
He was born in Goodville to the late Samuel M. and Sarah (Burkhart) Zimmerman, and was the husband of Arlene (Ecenroad) Zimmerman.
During his working years, he worked for Blue Ball Water Authority. He enjoyed fishing and old cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Mervin, husband of Julia Zimmerman of Ephrata: grandchildren: Valerie, wife of Matt Mellinger of Ephrata; and Curtis, husband of Kelly Zimmerman of Mohnton; great-grandchildren: Dylan Kachel, Lindsay Mellinger, Hailie Mellinger, and Maggie Zimmerman; and two brothers: Marty L. Zimmerman of Fivepointville, and Carl L. Zimmerman of Akron.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Marvin Zimmerman; and a sister-in-law: Pauline Zimmerman.
A graveside service was held April 30 at Middle Creek Cemetery, with Pastor David Kling officiating.
