Hazel M. Allen, 96, formerly of Blue Ball, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Magnolias of Lancaster.
She was born in East Waterford, Juniata County, to the late Charles and Jennie Blanche (Vanscyoc) Gloss and was the wife of the late Willard J. Allen.
Hazel attended the Bridgeville Evangelical Congregational Church, Narvon. During her working years, she was an LPN at Lancaster General Hospital. She was an animal lover and enjoyed sewing, reading, walking and attending Bible study.
She is survived by a nephew: Gerald Lynn Eaton of Thompsontown.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 6, at 11 a.m, in the East Waterford Cemetery, Juniata County.
