Edwin R. Martin, 61, of 700 Stone Hill Road, Denver, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at his home.
His wife, Lucy (Martin) Martin, survives. Born in Kutztown, he was the son of Arlene S. (Hoover) Martin, of Terre Hill, and the late William Martin.
Edwin was employed as a trim maker at A.B. Martin Roofing, Ephrata, and was a member of Muddy Creek Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children: Lewis, married to Norma (Martin) Martin, Withee, Wisc.; Laura, married to Joe Miller, Milton; LeRoy, married to Dorothy (Sensenig) Martin, Reinholds; 12 grandchildren; 10 siblings: Mary Ellen Garman, Terre Hill; Lena, married to Ezra Hoover, Ephrata; Ervin, married to Ruth (Martin) Martin, Denver; Laurence, married to Mary Ann (Newswanger) Martin, Quarryville; Esther, married to James Hurst, Osage, Iowa; Luella, married to Aaron Martin, Churchtown; Jane Martin, Denver; James, married to Karen (Burkholder) Martin, Stevens; Linda Martin, Lititz; Pauline married to Edward Zimmerman, Narvon.
He was preceded in death by a son: Lorin Martin in 1988.
Services were held May 1 at Muddy Creek Mennonite Church, with Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
