Shirley Ann Pfautz, 78, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at the Garden at Stevens.
She was the wife of the late Robert D. Pfautz, who passed away Oct. 30, 2001; and daughter of the late Emery and Anna Mae (Hibshman) Shenk.
Shirley was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church in Ephrata and retired from Conestoga View as nurse’s aide. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are four children: William R. Pfautz, husband of Lois, of East Earl; John P. Pfautz; Anna M. Pfautz; and Howard K. Pfautz, husband of Rita-Marie, all of Ephrata; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings: William, Gladys, Orvilla, and Darla.
In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was preceded in death by one son: Robert Pfautz; and six siblings: Clarence, Marvin, Emery, Bernice, Ethel, and Ruth.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Mother Of Perpetual Help Church 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, at 11 a.m., on Nov. 23. Friends will be received at the church 45 minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
