Robert “Bob” N. Landis, 62, of Ephrata, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack, on Monday, May 23, 2016.
He was born in Ephrata to Marian (Stauffer) Landis and the late Luke Landis and was the husband of Lucinda A. (Yoder) Landis for 38 years.
He was a member as well as deacon at Oasis Fellowship Church. Bob worked for Conestoga Wood Specialties for more than 35 years. He loved sports, beach vacations, playing volleyball, riding motorcycle, enjoyed politics, and was a Republican committee man. Bob especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. He was also a regular blood donor.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his two sons: Shawn and Austin Landis; two daughters: Shalyn, wife of Duncan Forbes; Amber, wife of Jeremy Shirk; six grandchildren: Josiah, Javan, Jayda, and Jessica Forbes; Lucas and Adrielle Shirk; a brother: Richard, husband of Sharon Landis; two sisters: Janet, wife of Richard Frey; and Jean, wife of Irvin Boll.
Services were held May 28 at D.O.V.E Westgate Church, Ephrata, with Pastor Chris Leiby officiating. Interment took place in the Metzler Mennonite Cemetery.
