Stephanie Marie Gerola, 20, of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Stevens as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born in Phillipsburg, N.J., to Joseph Gerola of Ephrata; and Holly Ann (Owens) Gerola of Phillipsburg, N.J.
Stephanie was a graduate of Ephrata High School. Her hobbies included drawing, photography, and playing softball. In her earlier years, she played the viola.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers: Joseph John Gerola of Ephrata, Nicholas Anthony Gerola of Phillipsburg, N.J.; a sister: Rachel Gerola, wife of Tyrone Cooper, of Ephrata; maternal grandmother: Elaine Leoszewski of Easton; maternal grandfather: James Owens of Melbourne, Fla.; paternal grandmother: Lucille Gerolla of Hackettstown, N.J.
A gathering to celebrate Stephanie’s life was held May 21 at Akron Mennonite Church, with Pastor Jim Amstutz officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
