Arlene H. Good, 79, Denver, worked at Stevens Feed Mill, active at Pine Grove Church

Arlene H. Good, 79, of Denver, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at Wellspan Ephrata Community Hospital.

She was born in East Earl Township to the late Henry W. and late Mary Virginia (Hurst) Martin; and was the wife of the late Jacob N. Good, who passed away in 2010.

Arlene was an active member of Pine Grove Church, Bowmansville. From 1967 through 2016 she was employed at Stevens Feed Mill. From 1992 through 2013 she co-owned Stevens Feed Mill with her late husband, along with her son and daughter-in-law. She was a member of the Denver Women’s Club, enjoyed knitting, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son: Willard J., husband of Florence (Martin) Good, of Denver; three grandchildren: Austin Matthew, husband of Krista (Lorah) Good, of Aberdeen, N.C.; Emily Nicole, wife of Ashley Bane, of Reading; Dillon Jacob Good of Denver; eight siblings: Carl L., husband of Lena Z. (Nolt) Martin, of Ephrata; Lorraine M., wife of Luke E. Weaver, of Myerstown; Lewis L., husband of Marilyn E. (King) Martin, of Mifflinburg; Mildred E., wife of Raymond Z. Nolt, of New Holland; Lucille M., wife of Wayne Rohrer, of Mercersburg; Paul H., husband of Marian (Martin) Martin, of Ephrata; Earl R., husband of Joyce E. (Groff) Martin, of Mohnton; and Ellen E., wife of Melvin S. Burkholder, of Cambridge Springs.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by a brother: Wilmer Roy Martin.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 25, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m., at the Pine Grove Church, 1194 Reading Road, Bowmansville, followed by her funeral service at 3 p.m., with Pastors Jonathan Yoder and Delvin Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
