Ruth B. Eline, 85, of Akron, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Luther Acres.
She was born in Clay Township to the late Cora (Eberly) Burkholder, raised by Lester and Erla Eberly and was the wife of the late Lawrence Eline who passed away in 2002.
Ruth was a member of the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ephrata. She was a 1948 graduate of Ephrata High School. Ruth retired from Jack Miller Insurance, Ephrata. After retirement she worked part time at Doneckers and Stauffers of Kissel Hill. Ruth enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling and listening to Frank Sinatra and Garrison Keillor.
She is survived by a son: Robert Usner of Wellsboro; two daughters: Sally, wife of Daniel Stahl, of Ephrata; Pamela, wife of Anthony Aeillo, of Ephrata; six grandchildren: Jason and Molly Usner; Ian Aeillo; Emily, wife of Tim Jensen; Adam and Katie Stahl; four great-grandchildren: Chase and Amelia Usner; Tallulah and Scarlet Aeillo; cousins: Lamar and Larry Eberly
Graveside services were held May 24 at Indiantown Mennonite Cemetery, Ephrata, with Rev. Jeffrey H. Goodman officiating.
