Gerald R. Leisey Sr., 80, of Ephrata, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at his home.
He was the loving husband of Eva K. (Brooks) Leisey for 61 years, and was the son of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Lutz) Leisey.
In addition to his wife, Eva; Gerald is survived by six children: Rick Leisey; Gerald Leisey Jr., husband of Joann; Tina M. Leisey; Cindy Dutill; Daryl Leisey, all of Ephrata; and David J. Leisey, husband of Wendy, of Lititz; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Gerald had worked for the Borough of Ephrata, Bollman Hat Company in Adamstown, and most recently the former Donecker’s in Ephrata. He was a former member of the Pioneer Fire Company in Ephrata and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Services were held Dec. 14 at Paul L. Gravenor Home for Funerals, Ephrata, with Pastor Tom Heinnlein officiating. Place of interment will be Memory Gardens, East Cocalico Township.
