Pauline S. Long, 75, Ephrata, sewing machine operator, enjoyed flower gardening

Pauline S. Long, 75, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at her residence.

She was born in East Cocalico Township to the late Martin and Alice (Stauffer) Bauman, and was the wife of George R. Long. They would have been married 53 years on Oct. 6.

She was a member of the Berean Bible Church for eight years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening flowers, and going to their cabin. Pauline worked as a sewing machine operator in the Ephrata area.

In addition to her husband, Pauline is survived by a son: Arnold E. Long of Ephrata; daughter: Roberta, wife of Tim Sprecher, of East Earl; three grandchildren: Vince, Vanessa, and Curtis; 11 siblings: Mae S., wife of the late Harold Reich; Lila S., wife of Carl Zimmerman; Clarence S., husband of the late Blanche Bauman; Ray S., husband of Lydia Bauman; Erla S., wife of the late Mahlon H. Martin; Paul S., husband of Virginia Bauman; Nora S., wife of Donald Busser; Arlene S., wife of Harvey Zimmerman; Joyce S., wife of the late Mahlon F. Good; Harold S., husband of Jeanette Bauman; and Titus S., husband of Ruth Bauman.

She was preceded in death by two siblings: Kathryn Zimmerman and Mildred S. Martin.

Services were held Sept. 28 at Berean Bible Church, Ephrata, with Pastors Kelly and William Sensenig officiating. Interment took place in the Memory Garden Memorial Cemetery.
