David Arnold Lowe, 79, Leola, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in South New Berlin, N.Y., to Anna Mitchell Lowe and raised by his mother and his step-father. He was the husband of Linda June (Morgan) Musser Lowe with whom he shared 11 years of marriage.
David was a member of Ephrata Church of the Nazarene where he was very active and also a greeter. He loved to talk about the Lord. He was a people person who was loved by all. He served as a soldier with the Salvation Army twice in his life. He worked as a greeter at Walmart for 11 years.
David is survived by three step-daughters: Tammy, wife of Michael O’Bannion, of Ithaca, N.Y.; Carrie Musser of Ithaca, N,Y.; and Jolene Musser of Dryden, N.Y.; five step-grandchildren: Michaela, Michael, Anna Rose, Xavier O’Bannion, and Dakota Miller; and a sister, Genevieve Grewe of North Pitcher, N.Y..
A memorial service will be held April 29 at 7 p.m. at the Ephrata Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. B.W. Hambrick officiating. A gathering and meal will be served at the church at 5:30 p.m.
