Juliet C. Benson, 16, of 210 Georgetown Road, Strasburg, joined her father in Heaven Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014.
Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of Rachael A. Benson, fiancé of Mike Lugo, and the late Lucas Malmer, husband of Laura Malmer, of Ephrata.
A junior at Lampeter-Strasburg High School, she had attended Ephrata schools in her younger years. Juliet enjoyed spending time with her family, playing soccer, singing, and lighting up a room with her smile. She cared about other teens who were struggling. Proud to get her driver’s license, she also liked helping her step-dad work on her car.
She will also be lovingly missed by her siblings: Madalynn Becker, Nathaniel Malmer and Justice Lugo; maternal grandparents: Kathy, wife of Steve Ravegum, Ephrata; Jon, husband of Victoria Benson, Savannah, Tenn.; paternal grandparents: Kim and Mark Malmer, Ephrata; paternal great-grandfather: Dale, husband of Judy Rich, Robins, Iowa; maternal great-grandfather: John Adair, Lititz; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her celebration of life service was held Sept. 20 at the Worship Center, Lancaster. Interment of ashes will be at the family’s convenience.
