Noah B. Weaver, 85, of Manheim, died peacefully Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.
Born in Terre Hill, he was the son of the late Noah B. and Magdalena S. Martin Weaver. Noah was the husband of Edna Z. Burkholder Weaver and they observed their 63rd wedding anniversary in January of this year. Noah owned and operated his own farm in Rapho Township; he also worked for the Manheim Auto Auction for over 40 years. He was a member of Clearview Mennonite Church, Manheim.
Surviving in addition to his wife: are three sons: Noah B. Jr., husband of Erma Martin Weaver, Lester, husband of Irene Kurtz Weaver, Linford, husband of Lynnette Zimmerman Weaver, all of Manheim: four daughters: Elaine, wife of Leonard Horning of Denver, Ruth Ann, wife of Philip Horst of Ephrata, Marie, wife of Melvin Horst of Lititz, Marion, wife of Norman Lemar Hahn of East Earl; 35 grandchildren: 53 great-grandchildren; a brother: Paul, husband of Dorothy Weaver of Blue Ball; and a half sister: Edna Mull of Ephrata.
Preceding Noah in death is a brother: Jeremiah Weaver; two half-brothers: Raymond and Clarence Weaver; four sisters: Ella Esbenshade Rutt, Mary M. Heisey, Emma High, Elizabeth Burkholder; and an infant sister: Anna Mae Weaver.
Funeral services will be at Clearview Mennonite Church, North Esbenshade Road, Manheim on Thursday, July 24, 014 at 9:30 a.m. with Clearview Ministry officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
