Earl W. Brubaker, 65, of East Earl, went home unexpectedly to be with his Holy Savior and his parents Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 in Wilmington, Del. Local survivors include his son: Darren R. Brubaker of Adamstown and his sister: Ella Mae Eby of Ephrata.
Shirley Ann Leed, 76, Selinsgrove, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 at her home. She was born July 17, 1937 in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Stella (Haldeman) Leed. Her brother, Edward (Annamarie) Leed, lives in Stevens.
Linda Anne Leonard, 64, of Narvon, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at Hospice & Community Care in Mt. Joy. Born in Narvon, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Edna (Hyman) Jacobs. Linda worked for 11 years as payroll/benefits coordinator at Ephrata Manor. Her daughter, Kendra Sue, married to Greg Rhinier, lives in Ephrata.
Franklin A. Loew, 93, of Lancaster, formerly of Reading, entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013 at the Mennonite Home of Lancaster. He was a lifelong member of the Ephrata Masonic Lodge #665, F.&A.M.
Lester Weaver Martin, also affectionately known as “Les” to many, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, following a brief illness. Local survivors include a son: Kevin Andrew, married to Julie West Martin of Ephrata; a granddaughter: Jessica Michelle, married to Jeremy Martin of Ephrata and a brother: E. Phares and Marie (Garman), Ephrata.
Wayne W. Martin, 88, of New Holland, formerly of Goodville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014 at Garden Spot Village. He had a lifelong interest in computers and technology and volunteered at the Ephrata Re-Uzit, refurbishing computers.
