Judith A. ‘Judy’ Ramsey, 72, Ephrata, active at Wiest Memorial Church, enjoyed cooking, gardening

Judith A. “Judy” Ramsey, 72, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital after contacting West Nile Virus.

She was born in Lebanon County to the late Lloyd F. and Catherine I. (Miller) Lesher and was the wife of Larry E Ramsey, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Judy was an active member of Wiest Memorial Church, Stevens. She loved her flower gardens and was an avid cook. She looked forward to traveling to Arizona in the winter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Michael E., husband of Mary K. Ramsey of Epsom, N.H.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Melissa Ramsey.

A visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at Wiest Memorial Church, 48 S. King St., Schoeneck. Parking is available behind the church or at Immanuel Free Reformed Church, located at the old Schoeneck fire hall on Queen Street; shuttle service will be available.

Memorial contributions in Judy’s memory may be made to Wiest Memorial Church, 48 S. King St., Stevens, PA 17578.
