Janice E. Clair, 77, of Reinholds, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy.
She was born in Reinholds to the late Calvin and Elverta (Haldeman) Boyer.
Janice was a member of Swamp Christian Fellowship Church for 60 years. She worked at the Denver Shoe Factory (Wolf’s) and Bollman’s Hat Factory prior to retirement. She enjoyed collecting key chains and frogs, working in the yard, and spending time with her family.
Janice is survived by three children: Janet Kellie and companion David Miller; Sandra, wife of Harry Leisey; and Brian Clair, companion of Yvonne Strunk; five grandchildren: Heather, Nathan and Shawn Bender; Greg Mimm; and Connor Leisey; two siblings: Charles Boyer and companion Judy Sauder; and Kathryn Sweitzer; and four great-grandchildren: Jaylyn Bender, Austin and Dallas Bender, and Carson Steininger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Chris Bender.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 23, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Craig Frazier officiating. Interment will be held at the Middle Creek Brethren Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Janice’s name to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603 .
