Donald David Dubbs, 86, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Pine Grove to the late John A. and Tennie I. (Mausser) Dubbs, and was the husband of Emma Louise (Roeder) Dubbs, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.
He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ, Ephrata, and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #374.
Donald was a produce manager for Acme Markets before retiring in 1990. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War. He enjoyed sports, horseback riding, and reading..
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by sons: David D., husband of Susan (Neidlinger) Dubbs of Ephrata; Daniel D., husband of Molly (Kelly) Dubbs of Schuylkill Haven; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bethany United Church of Christ, 140 E. Main St., Ephrata, with Pastor Robert Shrom officiating.
