Mildred Haller, 79, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
She was born in Millway to the late Harry and Lillian (Wartluft) Cooper, and was the wife of Robert Haller, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Mildred enjoyed puzzles and reading. She also loved her cats and birds, flowers, and traveling with her husband. In the early years, Mildred worked for Oregon Manufacturing.
In addition to her husband, Mildred is survived by a son: Keith, husband of Simone Haller of Lititz; two granddaughters: Megan, wife of Derek Feiler of Lititz; and Alexis Haller, fiancée of Joshua Kreiter of Lititz; three great-grandchildren; a sister: Laura, wife of Richard Leed of Smokestown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Evelyn Schannauer and Serena Wentzel.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Ave., Ephrata. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Steinmetz Cemetery.
