Carol A. Weaver, 62, of New Holland, died unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, and is now with Jesus.
Born in Ephrata, she was a daughter of the late Luke M. and Dorothy (Wanner) Leaman. She was married 41 years on May 22 to Tim L. Weaver.
Carol graduated from West Reading Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse. She has been working since 1999 for the Susquehanna Valley Pregnancy Services in Ephrata, most recently as director of post-abortion ministry. She has also been training volunteers with Surrendering the Secret, a post abortion ministry, and served on the board of 10 Million for Christ.
She was a member of Petra Church. Her first love was the Lord, and she deeply loved her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking, the beach, beautiful sunsets, and was known for her smile and love for people.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters: Angie, married to Brian Zimmerman, of Temple; Amy, married to Doug Pfautz, of Ephrata; and Tina, married to Tyler Mull, of Brownstown; eight grandchildren; two sisters: Donna, married to Glen Kanagy, of Belleville; Sandy, married to Clair Martin, of Narvon; and a brother: Dale, married to Lonita Leaman, of New Holland.
Services were held Sept. 14 at Petra Church, New Holland, with the Revs. Lester Zimmerman, Jeremy Leaman, and Brian Flewelling officiating. Interment was in the Petra Memorial Park.
