Kathryn M. Seibel, 98, of Denver, formerly of Clay School Road, Ephrata, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Cocalico Christian Home.
Born in East Earl Township on Aug. 7, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Martin) Zimmerman.
She was married in November 1937 to the late Warren I. Seibel, who passed away in 1982.
She was a member of Springville Mennonite Church. Kathryn was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, reading, and doing puzzles.
Kathryn is survived by seven children: Miriam, wife of Melvin Nolt, of New Holland; Irvin, husband of Elva (Nolt) Seibel, of Paradise; Clara, wife of James Lee Newswanger, of Ephrata; David, husband of Mary Jane (Rutt) Seibel, of Stevens; Warren Jr., husband of Mabel (Sensenig) Seibel, of Stevens; Kathryn, wife of Donald Groff, of Lititz; Jason, husband of Karen (Habecker), of Ephrata; 33 grandchildren; 142 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother: Paul Zimmerman of Lititz.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two granddaughters; a great-grandson; a great-great-granddaughter; and four siblings: Edna Martin, Elmer Zimmerman, Clara Martin, D. Martin Zimmerman.
Services were held May 31 at Springville Mennonite Church, Ephrata, with Bishop Melvin Martin officiating. Interment took place in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
