Benjamin W. Auker, 84, attended Blainsport Mennonite Church, father of four

Benjamin W. Auker, 84, of Ephrata, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Fairmount Homes.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Noah and Leah (Wenger) Auker, and was the husband of the late Shirley (Simpson) Auker.

Benjamin was a member of Blainsport Mennonite Church.

He is survived by three daughters: Dorothy S. Auker of Lancaster; Jane S., wife of Robin Fritz, of Denver; Fern S., wife of Raymond Stone, of Farmersville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; a brother: Paul, husband of Velma Auker of Terre Hill; four sisters: Elsie Martin of Farmersville; Lidia Limberg of Farmersville; Alice, wife of Harvey Brubacher, of Ephrata; and Edna, wife of Ernest Martin, of Red Run.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a son: Landis S. Auker; and two brothers: Norman and Willis Auker.

Services were held May 9 at the Wheatridge Chapel, Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, with Pastor Eric Marshall officiating. Interment followed in the Metzler Mennonite Cemetery.
