J. Dale Landis, 90, of Lititz, died Dec. 3 at the Landis Homes Retirement Community, surrounded by his family. Dale farmed the family farm in Manheim Township until the age of 50. He also worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural mail carrier in the Lititz area for many years. Dale enjoyed visiting and talking with everyone he met. He had a generous heart, and enjoyed giving to church and charities. His son, J. Dale Jr., husband of Catherine Landis, lives in Ephrata.
Adin H. Martin, 85, of Mount Joy, passed away Nov. 29 at home. Born in Ephrata, he was a member of Clearview Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference), Manheim. Adin was a farmer. His daughter, Erma, wife of Carl Sensenig, lives in Denver.
Norma C. Rowe, 83, of Lititz, died peacefully Nov. 29 at Lancashire Hall, Lancaster. For many years Norma worked in the food service department for Stauffers of Kissel Hill, Lititz. She served as a volunteer for the meals on wheels program for the Lititz area, and for the Lancaster General Hospital Auxiliary. Her interests included flower gardening and playing cards with her family and friends. Her son, William, husband of Rebecca Rowe, lives in Stevens. A son, Barry, husband of Anita Rowe, resides in Denver. Her daughter, Lisa, wife of Neal Mease, lives in Ephrata.
Anetta B. Zohn, 96, of Lititz passed away Nov. 28 at Moravian Manor. Anetta worked as a housekeeper for the Harrison House in Christiana for several years and enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, sewing, crocheting and playing bingo at the Manor. She was an avid reader of Bill O’Reilly, was a great cook and always enjoyed spending time with her family. Her granddaughter, Nicole, wife of Bryan Sensenig, lives in Ephrata.
