Sara J. Tokarczyk, 72, homemaker, OMPH parishioner, enjoyed antiquing, panning for gold

Sara J. Tokarczyk, 72, of Myerstown, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.

She was born in Chester County to the late Clement C. and Alice M. (Peck) Schaffer, and was the wife of the late John G. Tokarczyk.

She was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Sara was a homemaker. She enjoyed antiquing, traveling, and panning for gold.

Sara is survived by a daughter: Glenda, wife of Grant Rogers, of Myerstown; two granddaughters: Sara M. West, wife of Josh Hoffert, of Ephrata; Alexis Rogers of Myerstown; six siblings: Norman E. Schaffer of Shillington, Earl R. Schaffer of McVeyville, Barbara (Schaffer) Zook of Gap, Robert L. Schaffer of Morgantown, Mary A. (Schaffer) Huber of Akron, and Larry L. Schaffer of Akron.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Paul E. Seidel; and a brother: William F. Schaffer.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
