Jack Wolfgang Wampler, 14, of Ephrata, passed away unexpectedly in Lebanon County on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.
He was born March 10, 2002, in Spartanburg, S.C., to Joel L. Wampler of Schaefferstown and Lisa K. Brubaker-Wheat, wife of Michael D. Wheat of Ephrata.
Jack was an eighth grade student at the Ephrata Middle School. He enjoyed telling jokes, making YouTube videos, computers, was a master of Rubik’s cube and enjoyed watching cartoons.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Hayley Nicole Kauffman of Schaefferstown; maternal grandmother: Nancy D. Brubaker, companion of Jack Stewart of Ephrata; maternal grandfather: Clarence M. Brubaker of Ephrata; paternal grandmother: Renee, wife of George Throne of Bethel; aunts and uncles: Jeff and Kim Aungst of Bethel; Justin and Dawn Beck of Bethel; Riley and Lance Wampler of Los Angeles, Calif.; Jeff and Jill Cochran of Lancaster; Mark and Jericho Brubaker of Akron; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather:, Leonard Wampler.
A memorial service was held May 16 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, Ephrata, with Pastor Rocky Hambrick officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
