Miriam D. Hehnly, 79, of Reinholds, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016, at home.
She was born in Denver to the late Paul A. Burd and Maude M. (Mann) Eckenrode; and was the wife of Carl V. Hehnly, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage.
She enjoyed collecting cardinals; loved her family, laughing and telling jokes, and all kinds of animals.
In addition to her husband, Miriam is survived by two daughters: Debra, wife of Jay Gerhart; and Diane, wife of Paul King; a son: Darryl, husband of Denise Hehnly; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother: Clarence Burd Sr.
She was preceded in death by two sons: David and Dennis Hehnly; a daughter: Dawn Hackman; and a brother: Paul Burd Jr.
Services were held May 17 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Robert Hurd officiating. Interment took place in the Fairview Cemetery annex.
