Alec M. Bartholomew of Purcellville, Va., entered into rest on April 7, 2016, at the age of 22.
Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Jennifer and Brent D’Agostino of Purcellville, Va., and Robert and Michelle Bartholomew of Denver.
He is a graduate of Loudoun Valley High School and was the owner and operator of Mow Town Lawn Care. He was also employed by Valley Land and Lawn Care and Creeks Edge Winery.
Alec was an avid outdoorsman; he loved hunting, fishing, camping, and anything that allowed him to be outdoors. He was a genuine, fun loving, thoughtful man with a heart of gold. He touched so many lives throughout his life. He treasured time spent with his family, friends, and his beloved dog Izzy.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Cole and Sophia D’Agostino; grandparents; Richard and Wanda Reincke Jr., Robert Bartholomew, Pam and Dave Levering, Linda Cataldo, and Dawn Pope; aunts and uncles: Richard and Cheryl Reincke III, Sean and Sue Reincke, Kyle Reincke, Brandon and Michelle Bartholomew, Anita and Alan Rogers, Debbie and Greg Stewart, Danette D’Agostino, Mike D’Agostino; and many cherished cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Alec’s name to huntofalifetime.org, an organization that Alec was passionate about and participated in for 12 years.
Memorial services are being planned in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
