Janet C. Fritz, 85, of Ephrata, and formerly of Reading, passed away at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy, Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016.
She was the loving wife of the late Wilbur M. Fritz, who passed away April 24, 1995, and daughter of the late Morris and Julia (Sitko) Miller.
Janet had worked in the offices of the former Gerhart Bros. Coal and Lumber Co. and Walter Heckrote Insurance of Ephrata.
She enjoyed reading, traveling, and solving crossword puzzles.
Janet is survived by two children: Kim N., wife of James Michener; and Derek D. Fritz, all of Ephrata; three grandchildren: Lori Michener of Lancaster, Peter Michener of Philadelphia, and Michael Fritz of East Earl; four great-grandchildren; one sister: Shirley Rupp of Ephrata; and one brother: William Miller, husband of Kathy, of Ephrata.
In addition to her husband and parents, Janet was preceded in death by one grandson: Aaron Fritz; one sister: Fern Christ; and one brother: Jack Miller.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
