Janice L. Albert, 55, of Ephrata, died Nov. 8, 2015 at Ephrata Community Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Mahlon L. Gockley, and the late Miriam Albert.
She worked for Hess Bros. Fruit Co. Janice enjoyed the beach where she watched dolphins. She loved to go swimming in her backyard pool. Janice was the “Caretaker of Cats,” because she adored them.
Surviving is a daughter: Holly A. Sheaffer of Ephrata; companion: John Wolfersberger of Ephrata; siblings: Nancy A. Gockley, Dennis E. Gockley both of Lititz; Randy L. Gockley, husband of Connie, of Elizabethtown; and a nephew, Colton Gockley.
Janice was preceded in death by a sister: Tina M. Gockley; and a cousin: Debbie Strickler.
Services were held Nov. 13 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, Lititz.
