Kathryn I. Weitzel, 91, of Denver, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Denver to the late Harry S. and Cora E. (Burd) King; and was the wife of the late Leroy Weitzel, who died in 2006.
Kathryn was a homemaker, and enjoyed going for car rides.
Kathryn is survived by a son: Larry L. Weitzel of Denver; a sister: Ruth K. Sweigart of Denver; a brother-in-law: Ivan Weitzel; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Grace M. Schmeck and Helen M. Weitzel; and three brothers: Ernest R., John C., and Paul King.
Services were held Sept. 26 at Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor David Brumbaugh officiating. A private interment was held in Fairview Cemetery Annex.
