Elmer N. Nolt, 88, of Ephrata, formerly of Brecknock Township, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at Fairmount Homes.
Born in Brecknock Township, he was the son of the late Amos and Lizzie (Huber) Nolt. He was married 60 years on Oct. 9 to Ella S. (Shirk) Nolt.
Elmer worked 28 years (1943 through 1971) at Bollman Hat Factory in Adamstown. He was a member of the Pine Grove Church in Bowmansville, and he enjoyed being a part-time farmer.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: Curtis Nolt of Denver; John, married to Anne (Good) Nolt, of Reinholds; and Arden, married to Teresa (Gehman) Nolt, of Denver; and four grandchildren: Clifton, Katlin, Jason, and Adam.
Preceding him in death is a grandson: Andrew; and two brothers: John and Abe.
Services were held Sept. 19 at Pine Grove Church, Bowmansville, with the Rev. Jonathan Yoder officiating. Interment was in the Bowmansville Mennonite Cemetery.
