Betty Jane (Fulton) Herr, 73, Ephrata, OMPH member, Barry Maid Mills worker, enjoyed crocheting

Betty Jane (Fulton) Herr, 73, of Ephrata, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Maple Farm Nursing Center.

She was born in Hershey to the late Joseph John and Dorothy Mildred (Etzweiler) Fulton and was the wife of the late Melvin R. Herr who passed away Nov. 10, 2014.

Betty Jane was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. She had been employed in the early years by Barry Maid Mills, Lebanon. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: Brenda Steininger of Lancaster; Teresa, wife of Willie Sullivan, of Taylorsville, Miss.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers: Donald and Robert (Bob) Fulton.

Services were held July 17 at Stradling Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Father John McLoughlin, C.SS.R., as celebrant. Final commendation and farewell took place in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
